DR'S. ADVICE ONLY, PLZ & THANKS.?

Will taking Prenadal vitamins increase the chance of getting more fertile or pregnant?

Please help, i've had so many different answers in the past, so please only doctors.

Unless you have a personal experiance, that gives me positive feedback.DR'S. ADVICE ONLY, PLZ %26amp; THANKS.?
No offense, but most doctor's don't spend time roving on YA for free medical advice to give.

I don't think that prenatal vitamins increase your fertility, but they do give your body the best back-up support you'll need to get and stay pregnant.

Hope that helped!DR'S. ADVICE ONLY, PLZ %26amp; THANKS.?
I'm not a doctor, BUT I asked my OBGYN after she prescribed them to me. She prescribed prenatal vitamins the moment she knew I was TTC.

She said yes and no...

Yes, healthier women tend to have a better chance of concieving and bringing a child to term. And women who are not on a vitamin suppliment, who then begin a prenatal v. regimin, will see an overall improvement in health.

But it's not a fertility drug.

However; it's highly reccomended that women TTC begin a prenatal vitamin regimin prior to concieving. Folic acid is an important part of a child's early development. Studies have shown women taking folic acid a month prior to conception is very good for the baby.

You don't have to have a perscription-grade prenatal vitamin to get the reccomended dose of folic acid. Centrium and women's health vitamins usually have plenty.
I am not a doctor but when I saw my doctor before we tried to get pregnant this is what he told us.

The prenatal vitamins are there so that when you become pregnant you have all the vital vitamins to support the pregnancy. It is also key for the early development of the fetus.

If you have any further questions I would make an appt with your doctor.
if you want an answer from only a doctor you should make an appt with a doctor.we are just normal woman giving each other advice.
