Those people are in denial. Oprah and Dr. Phil, are just there to state the obvious. Maybe, if a billionare or a world famous ';doctor'; says it to you, you hear it better.( o _ 0 ) Why do people go to Oprah and Dr. Phil for advice?
Probably the same reason people come to the internet for advice. Mental illness and general instability.
