if they doctor thinks you can try a vaginal birth then give it a go you will have professionals there to help if they think there will be a problem they wont let you go ahead and give birth naturally. but yes im sure the scar would still be fresh i always thought they recommend waiting 2 or 3 years before having another baby after a c-section. just keep your options open, if you are worried then have another c-section for less complications. good luck.I gave birth on 25 December 2008 and am now 8 months gregnant my Dr says i try viginal birth first. Advice.?
Of course random anonymous strangers can give you better advice than your doctor. That's the answer to the health care crisis, just let everyone use Yahoo Answers instead of doctors.
i had cesarean with my first son and he was 3 when i got pregnant with my second. i told the doctor that i wanted to try vaginal, he agreed, but he told me the risks: he compared the scar to a sewn up tear in a shirt. if the shirts gets stretched out again and pulled on (contractions), there is a chance that the sewn up tear will tear again. he told me that if my scar is torn during contractions/labour, then there is a 50% chance the baby will die. of the 50% that will live, 75% will be handicapped and 25% will be perfectly fine. the less time you have between c-section and vbac the more of a risk there is. i had 3 years, you only have 11 months.
You should listen to your doctor, not people on a website. You have probably put your health at risk by getting pregnant so quickly after the first pregnancy so I feel sure your doctor will be taking good care of you.
Ask your doctor abut it. If you don鈥檛 like your doctor get a new one.
Advice? listen to the trained, qualified medical expert and not strangers who don't know you, your medical background or the reason for the last section and probably have no medical training or qualifications in obstetrics or midwifery.
