Three testicles? I know this not norm......I need Dr. advice?

My brother, who is 30, has just in the past year told me about him, having a third testicle. He has always joked that he has one, and was hung like a bull. I never took him very seriously. I have told him, and encouraged, him to see a Dr. He has always just joked about it. Until now. He wants to see a Doctor, he is asking me for help now,(I am a medical assistant). He has no pain from it, and it,to his knowledge, has not grown in size, since puberty. The only reason he is asking for help now, is because he says'; it's in the way now, and getting uncomfortable';I don't know if it matters, but he is a virgin.

He has no insurance so I was wondering who to send him to, to figure this out? I was suggesting a urologists. But he needs to go straight to the source, so I need to know what type of Doctor can help him.Three testicles? I know this not norm......I need Dr. advice?
His family doctor can help him and inspect all three testis for any abnormalities or lumps.

If all three testicles are healthy, which they likely are, then the more to him. Having the third testicle is not common, but along with it is likely a third seminal vesicle and the appropriate ducting through his prostrate gland.

He may have a higher sex drive and maybe more semen than the average, but the body regulates testosterone no matter how many testicles there are.

Tell him not to worry, and I bet you 2 dozen Krispy Cream dough nuts that he's just fine! Ha ha!

There's not likely any Lady that's going to complain or make fun of three testicles and he should have good confidence and not feel bad or self conscious. He just has more than most Dudes.

Hope this helped you?

Me! :- )Three testicles? I know this not norm......I need Dr. advice?
I have seen this happen in the case of male animals and heard from reliable sources of men being that way.I wouldn't worry overmuch but have him get a urologist to examine him.
sounds like a tumor he should run yes run like the wind to the doctor a.s.a.p.
While not totally impossible that he has three testicles, it's extremely unlikely.

A mass in the scrotum besides the usual two testicles is almost always something other than a third testicle.

I'm surprised that you don't know this, since you say that you're a medical assistant. Ask any doctor.

There are a lot of possibilities about what this mass might be, and he needs to see a doctor and get diagnosed and possibly treated.

Gee, if you are a medical assistant and you need a doctor's advice, why don't you ask one where you work?
