I need serious Dr. Advice... I'm 8 1/2 months pregnant, and VERY sick...?

This is my 1st pregnancy, and NEVER have I had morning sickness, or ANY kind of sickness whatsoever the entire pregnancy, until I woke up 2 days ago with a terrible cough and sore throat. Yesterday, I had my baby shower, and could barely stand up because my muscles ached so bad, throat hurt even worse than the day before, and could barely swallow. This morning, at about 2:00am, I woke up choking on my own vomit. I'm throwing up, CANT swallow hardly AT ALL-its excruciating if I do. I have 2 ear aches, a high temp, my muscles and joints are incredibly sore and hurts to move or do anything. My Jaw is clenched from having chills so badly... Does anyone have ANY clue what kind of medicine I would be able to take considering i'm almost 9 months pregnant? Medicine that will actually WORK????? I have got to do something because I can't even rest, and never have I felt THIS miserable-whats worse, is having all this WHILE having contractions at the same time... Please HELP!I need serious Dr. Advice... I'm 8 1/2 months pregnant, and VERY sick...?
Well hon if you have a virus there is nothing you can take anyhow, you just have to weather it through. I'm sure what you have is a virus, a serious one, it's been going around here too.

The only think you can take safely is TYLENOL and hopefully that will reduce your fever and chills.

Do give your doctor a call. They should be able to make a house call (hopefully). Stay in bed resting, gargle with salt water, 1/4 tsp in a large warm glass of water and stay hydrated, that is the most important part. Drink water constantly but little sips every 15 minutes or so.

If you can't hold any water down, then go to the ER and you need to be on an intravenous line where you get plenty of hydration for you and your baby.

You can take paracetamol to bring your temperature down and help with the pain - it sounds like you may have a virus. You shouldn't take any other meds without seeing your doctor.

You should really get checked out by your doc or midwife though - you might need some antibiotics for your throat.
Take safe medicines now like crocin and go for Ayurveda treatment which is always safe in any situation.
You need to go see your doctor ASAP, my last pregnancy i had to have codine and penecillan. Doctors will prescribe it if required. My doctor told me not to worry as it is safe for the baby, and it is certainly safer than choking on your own vomit, and if you go into to labour in that condition you'll have one hell of a time. See your doctor and get some drugs, sounds like you have a nasty infection.
You need to call your doctor and you need to do it NOW. Getting that fever down is extremely important, it's not safe for baby. I don't know what they'll tell you that you can take. Other than tylenol, dont' take anything until you are told by the doc that you can. This close to delivery, there are a lot of things that thin your blood, making delivery more dangerous. Be careful, and go call them RIGHT NOW. If they're not open it doesn't matter, they have an emergency answering service who will contact the doc, and the doc will call you back.
call your dr
GO SEE A DOCTOR!!!
Bless your heart! Only your doctor can advise you on the best medicine you need. Call your OB/GYN, he or she will check you out. Good luck.
You need to go to your emergency room. At least get off the computer and call your doctor's office and see what they want you to do.
go to your local emergency room please the more dehydrated you get the more contractions you have and it will bring on premature labor if your running a high fever this is not good for your baby call some one to take you or call 911
okay you need to take some tylenol or asprin which ever works best for you, then you need to go to a doctor to see if the baby is okay and if it is then put some ear drops in your ears and then eat some rolaids to help with the stomach pain. as for the sore muscles that is just the baby getting ready for delivery and they will go away when you have your baby.
call your DR asap...if you are choking on your own vomit, there's probably something wrong. if he can't get you in right away, go to the hospital.

good luck.
