Who do you ask for advice-YA, your relatives, or the dr. office?

So when you have a general ? about something-like how much milk is safe for a 1 yr old or what to do for vomiting or colic? and if you get advice from here or your relatives or friends, do you follow up and ask your pediatrician anyway or just do it? just curiousWho do you ask for advice-YA, your relatives, or the dr. office?
For medical stuff, I call the dr. For general baby questions I either ask my mom or ya or sometimes both.Who do you ask for advice-YA, your relatives, or the dr. office?
If it's anything serious such as a high fever or frequent vomiting then I phone his doctor or take him in.





If it's something less serious(teething, sleeping patterns, etc) then I ask my mom first and then come on here and ask. I like getting other parents' opinions on things, especially if they've been in my situation BEFORE me so they can tell me what worked for them and what didn't.

if it is at all medical, health, nutrition, etc..i go with the doc


if it is a general ? about a product, or what worked for someone else, i may ask on here and/or ask my mom.a technique of getting something done..behavioral, i might would ask opinions on here and mom as well...or what someone else would do in a certain situation..she's a great resource too, she had five of us!! and she had 3 under the age of one for a short while...:0)
My sister is a nurse so if its a medical question I always ask her first and if she is not sure she advises me on whether I should wait to ask the doctor or go to the ER immediately. If its not medically related I ask my mom or one of my other sisters or sometimes on here. If its not an issue concerning my daughters health I don't follow up with the doctor.

I use yahoo answers to ask about opinions... how do you feel about breastfeeding, binkys, sleeping, etc...





But I have never used it for.... my 1 day old hasn't eaten in 12 hours, what should I do?





I see lots of stuff on here I like.. and other stuff that worries me deeply..





But I can't think to deep into things...

My realitives I don't talk to and I can't be calling my parents long distance everytime Amber does something weird lol

Depends on how late it is, or if its something that I don't want my relatives or friends to know about.
