Grandson Born today advice please from Dr or Health Professional.?

Any midwifes on here my grandson born today but his ankles are 180 degrees facing in towards soles of feet,Will this rectify itself or what are the options please(Lovely baby though).

Thank you in advance.Grandson Born today advice please from Dr or Health Professional.?
My youngest son was born with talipes. It can easily be corrected with a bit pf physical therapy or if it is a severe case, surgery. Our son's was corrected with just some real basic range-of-motion excercises and physical therapy, which we were able to do ourselves at home. It was corrected within a few months of his birth-Grandson Born today advice please from Dr or Health Professional.?
It sounds like he has clubbed feet. Typically, they put casts or braces on to slowly move the feet out more. They may have to do surgery if the tendons are too tight. This is fairly common and usually able to be fixed. He may need to continue wearing braces on his feet/ankles as he learns to walk for support. The braces are usually a thin plastic and curve around the bottom of the foot and up the calf, they fit right into a shoe. Congrats on the new grandson!
Sounds like ';Clubbed Feet';. Both of my girlfriends sons were born this way. They usually begin by putting casts on the babys feet, if necessary they will do surgery to release the tendons at the ankles.

Both boys walk fine and the oldest played football.

Best wishes with your new baby grandson.
ahh lucky you!!

this can be quite common and if sorted out quite fast sometimes they need a very simple operation and casting of the legs and ankles. as soon as this is done he will be just like all the other kids running round you will wish for a break! he he

bet it feels good to be a granddaddy!!
Baby was JUST born-give it some time okay. Sometimes the area is limited in the womb %26amp; this is the way the baby presents. If there is a true problem the Dr. will tell you by the 1st yr.
