DR. Advice ASAP! Brain to eye injury?

On thanksgiving day 2008 I was rushed to the emergency room because of my ex bf slamming me to the ground numerous times and beating me up. Now I have pains I cant explain and my doctors are saying its just a migraine telling me to take motrin. I told them what happened they did an CT SCAN and said there was a little fluid in my brain on the left side.

Symptoms are:

*Feels like my brain is still swelling on the left side, some on the right.

*My neck and behind my ear has a pulsating throb comes and go

*My left eye and partially right eye is sensitive to like and has a ache that is unbearable. Comes and goes but recently its been everyday. I have to ice down my left eye to ease pain.

*Very sensitive to light and sound when symptoms occur.

*My head still has the lumps and when I am stressed or cry the pain is heightened.

*Blurry visions

*I get dizzy spells more than I do and have diabetes type 2

*I have a stutter and cannot register words to say when I get stuck in conversating.

Any idea as to what kind of diagnosis I have? Let me know if you have an answer I really need to know. Just give me an idea of the what can be wrong. AND YES i dealt with the ex bf already no need to worry bout his situation.

I advise that, instead of going to your physician, go to a neurologist immediately. It seems like the left hemisphere has been affected, since you have mentioned stuttering (your left hemisphere controls language). Did you go to a neurologist following the situation with your boyfriend? It sounds like you had a concussion and did not follow up. The symptoms of a concussion are blurred vision, nausea, and dizziness. See a neurologist immediately. I do not understand why the doctors you have consulted did not do anything about it, push the problem and tell them that it has been going on for a year.DR. Advice ASAP! Brain to eye injury?
if your back of your head was what hit the ground, that would explain why your eye hurts and is sensitive. The region of your brain that controls your eye is in the back.

I would go see a doctor just to be sure..you shouldn't take chances with these kind of things...
You really need to be seen by a neurologist asap. I wouldn't let this go!
