dr said nothing they could do for me and told me to get gp to refer to ent which could take mnths!!

is this right or should smeone be doing something now as i am worried, in pain and symptoms getting worse as day goes on?

pleas helpAny dr's please, really need advice?
You should have taken the antibiotics and some probiotics( healthfood) at the same time if you are worried about being on antibiotics and it hurting you. Sounds like the infections has gotten much worse and possibly spread into other areas.

You can lay on your sid eand put a cap full of hydrogen perxoide in your ear... do it a couple of time the same day until the fizzing is lessened.

I would just get back to the dr asap and take probiotics if they put you on meds.Any dr's please, really need advice?
I think you should go to the ER, they have doctors on call for each specialty, including ENT. They have to give you a referral from there, and the doctor has to see you, and you don't have to wait months. The numbness is throwing me a bit, but the rest of the symptoms make me lean towards meniere's disease. It is an imbalance of fluid in the inner ear, that is what controls your balance. I have it, but it comes and goes, but have heard of people who have it all the time. I may be way off, but you might take a look. Good luck.
